Mini Pallet Wrap

  • Widely used for bundling and securing smaller items such as parcels and boxes.
  • It has an elastic recovery, meaning it keeps items tightly wrapped and is applied either by hand or with a handheld dispenser.
  • Pallet wrap retains its tension during transit, preventing items from sliding around and getting damaged.
  • Cast film, which is extremely clear and ensures all colours of the wrap have a high level of clarity. The low level of gloss makes it easier to scan barcodes
  • Available in a range of colours:
    • Clear is used to see the item or scan a barcode
    • Black is used to mask contents
  • Ideal as an alternative to tapes and strapping.

Pallet wrap (also known as stretch wrap) is a highly stretchable film made from Linear low-density polyethylene. Due to the strong elastic recovery properties, the wrap will tightly grip anything it is wrapped around. This makes it ideal to use in place of tape when bundling items or wrapping smaller items.

High-performance co-extruded film

The wrap is manufactured in the UK using a high-performance co-extruded film. The film is extruded through a slot die, then passed over cooling rollers. This produces a high-quality, consistent cast film with high clarity. Resulting in a much less reflective surface, allowing labels and barcodes to be visible through the wrap. While cast film will not have the same high cling quality as blown film, it will have some ‘stickiness’ to it.

The most commonly used colours in the UK is black and clear. The black is ideal when trying to lower the visibility (or if visibility isn’t required) of the items. This is particularly helpful when wrapping high-value goods. Clear wrap is perfect for when you need to see the items inside. This is very helpful in warehouses which have many similar looking items, ensuring stock can be easily identified without checking labels or opening the wrap. The clear pallet wrap can also make it possible to scan barcodes through.
